The menacing Atlas debuted in the Star League Civil War. It was designed intentionally to be as menacing as possible with specifications handed down from General Aleksandr Kerensky himself.

In battle, the Mech's advanced communications led to it frequently serving as a command Mech.

The Atlas is extremely heavily armored and carries dangerous close combat weapons but is very slow.

The Atlas and the Mad Cat (or Timber Wolf if youre a weirdo) are the only contenders for "poster mech" of Battletech. Anything else simply can't compete in recognisability.

Just painted my first of these the other day. One of my favorite 'Mechs.

At that point I would say just get or refit to an Atlas AS7-RS.

A Large Laser in each arm, an AC/10 in place of the 20, LRM-15 and SRM-4. You lose some of the close in hitting power, but its a solid side-grade that makes up for the lack of long range firepower the standard AS7-D has.

Did you do a king carb and or a Charger video yet?

Huh, didn't think of using an AC5/RF in that slot. Usually I do it with a regular AC10 or the burst fire one but also replacing the srm6 with an Lrm10.

What DLC do you have that lets you swap out the battlefists? Call to Arms?

LRMs? On an Atlas? Blasphemy. Thats what the catapult in the next mech bay is for.

You can Target armor breeches? I didn't know hitting previously hit parts mattered

That’s not a great build. Swap the A/c 20 for a gauss rifle, drop the lrm20 to a lrm15, switch the 20 plus single heat sinks to 14 double heat sinks, max the armor and then you have the ultimate atlas
