I imagine by 2021 that a lot of people will have their eyes opened, especially the #firstworldproblems type. A quarter trillion deficit and climbing, nearly 3 million unemployed, disruptions in food supply when pasture is next to none and silage/baled feed is low due to wintering, the Saudi/Russia oil price war hitting our already battered O&G industry (a still sizable chunk of our GDP), the slap in the face payouts to meat producers that works out on average to be less than what one payment of CERB maximum is, the one time payout of a few hundred to seniors with a whole extra $4.24 per senior thrown in to help with deliveries.
Better tighten those belts, but hey, our federal government got a pay raise and on the plus side Trudeau isn't flying 203x this year so that saves a few million.
