Dang what an improvement. The MY20-MY24 Explorers were just so half baked ESPECIALLY the platinum with the 10" display. Glad to see Ford actually decided to get work done on this

Good review. It's dissapointing that Ford dropped the Hybrid version, instead of improving the hybrid powertrain. As competitors are moving forward, Ford is actually taking a step back.

If you noticed, the contour (shape) of the central console (where the wireless charger is located) is similar to any individual figure detailed of the frontal grill. This car looks amazing!

Ford Explorer is one of the nicest cars in its category.
It's a huge advantage to know all about recalls, necessary fixes and give it all the maintenance it deserves.

Glad Ford updated that very cheap and gaudy looking vertical center screen and dash materials. This looks more thought of rather then just a quick tacked on design. My gripes remain however with the size and annoying welcoming chime. Non the less its nice to know Ford is listening to the structural criticisms. We'll see what a redesign eventually brings.

This is IMO the nicest looking spec Ive seen of the 2025 explorers. I really hate the new large grille, but the platinum grille style with this grey exterior paint actually looks pretty decent. The Explorer ST grille just doesn't work for me in any color, just looks too weird -- unfortunate because the 2020-2024 Explorer ST was probably the best looking midsize 3 row. Have to go Platinum now...

Im surprised more people arent gawking at the $5, 000 for a black roof... if Nissan can give you one on the Pathfinder and Rogue for like $500, or several other manufacturers for that matter, I dont see what makes it so special on the Explorer.

It seems like it took years for this refresh to come out. Imo though its nice I like that they got rid of the old ipad display which looked so out of place and gave it this normal look. However the infotainment area and gauge cluster area as a whole reminds me of the ford escape which give or take can be a good thing or bad thing. Now… as far as the outside is concerned I feel like the grill could be smaller. Its like the entire front end is just grill with a lot of plastic. I feel like the pre refreshed was just enough to where it didnt spoil the design.

How do you guys feel about the 2025 genesis gv80 vs the 2024 Santa Fe calligraphy? Is the extra money worth it for the genesis?

The seats look cheap. Interior with all piano black. A notched out touchscreen. No dual Qi charging? Crazy! Not for what they’re asking for the price. RWD for 57k! WOW. Great video guys.

The screen bezels are very thick for a 2025 model! No framless rearview mirror? Or rear digital mirrors?

Yeah, who doesn't want a "family car" that can only carry 4 adults comfortably? The third row is, virtually, useless as it is in most three row crossovers. It also occupies too much space when folded. Mazda's new CX70 has TONS of cargo space and can carry 5 adults comfortably in the first two rows.
