So I was going to say "at least my backlog is out of the shipping box.. " but then I remember BB-8 in the closet, still in the shipping box...

Great video Greg those sets look awesome! You have a lot of sets in your backlog! I can't wait till you build Classic Land. That Legoland set looks really cool too! The diner was actually my first modular building too! With all the modular buildings that you have in your backlog and the diner you could also create a big city!

This strongly appears to be modeled after Legoland California in Carlsbad, San Diego. I spent part of my childhood 5 minutes away from it, and even worked across the street from it. Even the entrance is identical. All of the rides coincide as well, the knights castle dragon roller coaster was probably one of their oldest attractions, along with the submarine ride. The pirate cove was a later addition to the park. Of course there is a mini land too. The tower may have been in the center of legoland I remember there being maybe two rides sort of dedicated to viewing the park.

You should part out the easter egg. The Parisian Restaurant is a great build. I'm sure you'll have a great time building it. :-)

Nice big haul Greg. The Parisian restaurant was actully the first modular that caught my eye as a good set all the way back in 2014 when it first came out and the lego club had a look and find game going and you could actully win the set so I entered did not win but had wanted that set for years and waited march 2019 I finally get my hands on it. In 2018 I got the detectives office as my first modular. So since I knew it would retire soon I got it from the lego store and somehow kept it sealed for 3 months built it in june 2019 in 3 days. Bottom floor alone took me 12 hours over 2 days then I crammed a 6 hour day to do the other 2 floors. 18 hours later it is done. For comparison the pirate coaster took me 14 days 4 hours a day to do so 56 hours to do a 923 piece set.

For the classic land, I think you should build the legoland park, but in a bigger scale and add some more details
Idk if it's a good idea, but it's something

Your box was in better condition then mine. There was a big hole in the shipping box on the side with the bubble wrap thank gods for that because if it was on the other side it would’ve hit the set box. I almost had a heart attack from it
