What kind of question is “first responders doing the best they can?” Of course they are. The logistic obstacles, like no land access to certain areas or food or water, are huge. And to Sheldon’s point, without communication online, help would not even know where to go or what was needed.

These are rural areas and these resources were not in place with local knowledge.

Petition Congress for infrastructure funding now. We need to rebuild the roads, we need wireless broadband, we need solar and battery microgrid power infrastructure

TIME WIPES TEARS FROM ALL FACES?
There's a time to worry, fight and forgive
A time for crying, laughter and dance.
A time to remember our troubles past
Time for love, song, death, and romance.

In every household, dilemmas occur
Which challenge our resolve each day.
We face what we can, then look to God
As our friends and family pray.

Troubles make us able to cry
Sorrow teaches us to fear.
Those days we’re selfish and cruel
When life is so short and dear.

Time wipes tears from all faces
Whose hearts are tuned to sorrow.
Those that cry a thousand tears
Shall be blessed by tomorrow.
