I Played QB in an NFL Flag Football Tournament…

Me and bunch of high school buddies started a team here in Cen Cali. Started in an 8v8 contact league. Played a full season and learned there's a whole network of football players out there man. We've been playing 6v6 and gonna do a 5v5 soon. One of the best hobbies to have! This channel helped become a little better at QB for my team even though I've never played lol.

I played flag for 4 years as a qb and when I switched to tackle the coaches said that I had a great release because in flag you only have 1.5 seconds to drop back and throw so when I went to tackle I was better because I had that extra 2-3 seconds to throw so if you struggle with your release time try a couple seasons of flag to get the ball out faster.

nice to see more people getting into flag. it opens up so many opportunities to make friends and travel around different countries to play. its doing really well here in Europe. Will say if you want more time to throw get a guy who can long snap at centre. someone who can snap 8-10 yards with a clean spiral is game changing (particularly if you're a tiny QB like myself). you see all the top international teams with guys who can do this.

i plyed flag football a rlly long time before tackle, and i can throw so well under pressure and can escape the pocket well bc of it and would highly suggest it for younger kids wanted to play football, but cant cuz of parents

I used to play flag when I was younger I had to play diffrent positions since we were short on players, shit was fun though
