How to Open the Python Interpreter in Interactive Mode in the Command Line Interface (Windows)

In this video, we will take a look at how to start and use the Python Interpreter in Interactive Mode from the Command Line Interface (via Command Prompt) in Windows.

If running the python command opens up the Microsoft Store, follow these steps to fix the problem:
1. In the Windows search bar (lower-left corner of screen), search for App Execution Aliases and open it
2. Look through the list and turn off all the App Installer's for python
3. Close the command prompt window and open up a new one
You should now be able to start the Python interpreter.

If you are getting a message that says 'python' not recognized as an internal or external command..., you can first try typing py instead of python. If that doesn't work, you will need to search for how to manually add python to the PATH variable on Windows.

And when I type in exit() enter.

It exits the entire program
