Grading The 2014 NHL Draft

It's Thursday so lets grade some drafts!

Dylan Larkin is underrated as hell, can’t believe he went 15th when compared to half the guys in the top 10

I, for one, am quite glad that Sam Bennett learned how to do a pull-up

I'd still give a B for Ekblad tbh. He won the Calder as the best rookie and has been consistently one of the top 25 defenders in the League despite his injuries. Giving him a C because he was the 1st overall pick between MacKinnon, McDavid, and Matthews is unfair. He is one of the best defencemen in the draft class.

The third round of this draft is kinda interesting looking at it. Sorokin and Point were drafted back to back and you also have Walman, Foegele, and Merzlikins

Underrated class considering how bad Dal Cole, Virtanen and Fluery were.

Big fkn F for isles in '14. Dal colle? Dude not making team canada was the big red flag. He was slow, just lumbered around out there never getting involved, and not making anyone better out there. Garth blew that one big time like he did with most isle high picks on forwards '10-'16. Could have taken nylander, ehlers, or pasta instead. Also fanned on ho sang who he traded back into first to take. Fell in love with his stick handling dancing around with puck nevermind the fact his hockey iq was low. Even tho ho sang just won a kelly cup as echl champ for everblades.
