If you are planning to Road Trip the Czech Republic, here are my top-10 favorite places to visit. If you're traveling to the Czech Republic (aka Czechia) this list of Czechia road trip destinations will help guide your way through this central European country. This Czech Republic road trip guide begins in Prague and goes in a natural order that one might do through the country.

After exploring the capital city of Prague, the first stop is Loučeň and Mcely, two nearby villages with dueling chateaus that are just an hour northeast of the capital. Due north is Bohemian Switzerland, an outdoor haven for the hiker. Up next is the relaxing spa town of Karlovy Vary with its thermal springs. Next is the idyllic village of Loket, which has been used as a set for movies. To the southern parts of the country near the Austrian boarder is Cesky Krumlov. Wine lovers will enjoy Lendice and Mikulov. Then it is Brno, the 2nd largest city in the Czech Republic, which is a place equally as impressive as Prague, but much less expensive. Finally, we have Ostrava, a city with an industrial past which is fast becoming one of the hippest places in Czechia.

Czechia is an easy country to road trip with good roads in both the cities as well as the countryside. In the cities you will find most people speak or understand English, but in the villages, you will likely need a translator.

Wow, palatial chateaus, history, nature hikes, vineyards and film locations? Sounds like the Czech Republic has a little something for everyone! Mike's sweeping shots of the architecture, countryside and city scenes will have you immediately adding Czechia to your post-COVID travel goals. Love the camera museum, cobblestone streets and public jukebox too! Thanks for posting!

I still recommend visiting Telč and Slavonice. A beautiful and well-preserved example of what the town looked like in the Renaissance.

Nice work on 10 suggested day trips by car. I'm a big Prague fan also. I went to Mlada Boleslav twice to visit Skoda museum and to secondly see the old town museum and small castle museum. I've been to Prague twice.

Such a good video deserves some proofreading and editing of the script. Nonsensical names like Casino Royale (a James Bond film shot in Loket) spelt like 'casino rile' here, or 'the villa to gun hut museum' or 'the tagan hut family' (the Tugendhat family and their villa in Brno actually) show neglect and little interest in the matter.

This video is amazing! Thanks to the author of the channel for this fascinating video! It is interesting to see how people live in other countries! It is very important to know foreign languages on such trips. I would like to recommend to all travelers a practical guide to learning foreign languages by Yuriy Ivantsiv "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages". This book contains a lot of useful tips on how to learn a foreign language for tourists, students, entrepreneurs and anyone who needs a foreign language in life. There are a lot of good tips on how to solve problems with the language from beginner to advanced level of language learning. It turns out that the traveler only needs to know a few dialogues and you can easily travel around the world! You don't have to spend a lot of time to fully learn a foreign language, you just need to learn what you can use when you travel. I wish everyone exciting travels!
