I love watching these masters give new lives to beautiful old things. This is the way is should be, not throwing something out because its old or doesnt work anymore. Give it a good long spa day and make it new again.
Beautiful!

It's a beautiful heater. I think I would have definitely replaced that internal bare copper wiring that predated the invention of high temperature appliance wire insulation. The wiring inside ovens and high intensity discharge lights can resist high temperatures and would be ideal for the inside of a space heater. Space heaters have always been fire hazards... especially antiques. It's beautiful though and I would understand why you would want to keep everything original.

Excellent restoration however, the removal of spiders webs without gloves spooked me! Well done, great work.

In this condition, the heater is life-threatening. You have inadvertently insulated the contact surfaces of the safety contact on the appliance plug.

Great work. As a fan of these types of content could I ask you for a little more establishing shots with the dismantling? There was just a lot of jump cuts I didn't know where anything was located in the piece. Just a friendly ask. Great stuff and please keep it up!

Beautiful restoration job you did on the old heater. It looks much better than before and it seems to work like a charm too. Just make sure you are careful using it. Excellent work.

This is one piece of great workmanship on the part of the guys who first put this thing together. I know you're one of the masters, but even after dozens of years of dust, this thing didn't give you much to do.

Looks a lot better then the start I think you need to start doing before and after shots with the camera

Smart finish to a very dirty fire, infact I prefer the colour choice you chose rather than the previous colour. Yes you should be delighted with the result. 😊

This heater looks really well made. It must have been expensive when new. I remember the ones we had rusted away in a couple of years!😊

The capsule around the connector for the cable was not allowed to be painted!
There the pe ground has to be connected!
