you're seriously the only true crime youtuber out there who i never question whether or not your intentions are pure. a breath of fresh air, honestly. you also started talking about MMIW cases long before others...you're clearly not afraid to point out systems that fail.

I never realized this case wasn't solved. It sadly makes me wonder, knowing how often I get Amber and Silver alerts on my phone, if everytime Amber's mother/family gets an alert, how she feels? or even the person who killed Amber, do they feel any guilt every time they get an alert? Such a sad story, I hope they solve the case soon.

To the people out there annoyed by Amber Alerts: I'm sorry that a kidnapped, endangered, missing child has inconvenienced you by being taken & possibly murdered. Smh. Wouldn't you want everyone to know if your loved ones (or yourself) were kidnapped? I hope Amber's killer is tracked down. As a local, I remember this case & the Opal Jennings case happening within a couple years of each other. She was killed by Richard Lee Franks... I always wonder about that.

I find it incredible that they're still fighting to figure out who killed that poor little girl. My mom and I actually just watched a movie about this a few days ago and, considering how many cases end up going cold, it warms my heart to know that no one has given up in trying to bring Amber justice.

Every time I get an Amber alert I screen shot it so I can memorize the info and keep an eye out. I hope people realize how powerful they can be, to have everyone alerted with info on what to look for. It’s the ultimate crowd sourcing and everyone should imagine it’s their loved one, and try to be on the lookout for the suspect.

I remember this when I was a kid, I was 6 years old and we lived about 30 miles from Arlington, when she went missing I remember my mom explaining this to me and my siblings…this was the day stranger danger was explained to us, we were terrified to even go outside for a while😔😔 what a sad story

Love that you told people to be respectful of an amber alert. I saw a tiktok about Amber and to not get annoyed when an alert pops up and the amount of people being so insensitive about it was sad. “They expect me to go out and look” like duh no. No ones expecting you to do that but to just be aware a child is missing in YOUR AREA. You never know by some chance you just might spot the vehicle in question.

I've never ignored an amber alert but I'm sure that's due to my father being in law enforcement. I always read the information and try to look up the names online to find photos or more information, just in case. I highly recommend doing that bc you never know what you may see!

So crazy how we used to play freely without a care in the late 80s and 90s. I won't even leave my kids locked in the car in my driveway to run back in the house for something.

Great coverage as usual!

The one time I got an Amber Alert notification (I live in Canada and they're not common in my part of my province), I really only glanced at it quickly. Not enough to really take in the information. But, after what you said at the end of the video Danelle, that will be change. I'm going to give more of my attention now, so that I can be aware and be on the lookout. And to honour Amber. May she rest in peace and may the monster who took her from this world be found and face justice. ❤

Can you cover Nixzmary Brown? I feel her case is being forgotten and her story deserves to be heard.

Nixzmary Brown was a seven-year-old American abused child and murder victim from the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn, New York City. Her death impacted the city's Administration for Children's Services and prompted system reforms.

I’m seriously praying this case gets solved and while her mom is able to see some piece of justice.

The Amber Alert also has given rise to the Silver alert. This alert is for elderly people who have gone missing, usually on their own due to confusion.

Thank you for covering this! Parts of this had me tearing up, it truly is such a bittersweet case. I’m hopeful that this case will be solved- Amber deserves that justice. It is truly just beautiful how she continues to live on, saving lives daily.

Amber alert saved a little girl in my neighborhood. They found her within three hours. The guy was driving down the interstate and was spotted by a family driving home. Thank you amber.

Dallas native here. This case made my mom go nuts. I lived about 30 min from Arlington in the 90s, although 8 years younger than Amber. In 98 a man tried to lure me out of an eckards with candy. No joke. My mom screamed and he ran off, was not caught. Nor did they know the vehicle he drove/ was in. It’s always eerie to think about. I could’ve easily been in Ambers shoes.

My husband is a truck driver, I alert him immediately when an alert comes through. He has yet to spot anyone but you never know. 95% of his travel is by highway, not interstate. If any local run aways are posted, I send them for when he's returning.

THANK YOU SO MUCH! I've had no success getting anyone to cover this case. Thank you for bringing attention to her! You have no idea how much this means.

WHOA! How seriously cool that not only her name worked amazingly as an acronym but also when you think about the color of amber… It’s not really red it’s not really yellow so it’s somewhere in between a cautionary color that we have become used you with our coding system for alerting… I am blown away by the history of this… And of course, my heart is heavy about this poor child and family experienced such a heart wrenching tragedy.… It is beautiful that her name lives on…

I remember being at the musical Come From Away a few years ago and it was the last few seconds of the show. And the Amber Alerts went off on everyone’s phones. Everyone near me checked their phones, made comments that they would keep an eye out for the little one when we all left, and on we went. No one complained (that I heard of). Everyone just looked and knew what our jobs were after that.
They found the little one with her dad later on that night. She was unharmed and it was a contentious custody thing.
I know I sometimes find the alerts very loud and disruptive. But I’d rather be interrupted than anything bad happen to a kiddo.
