A45 AMG VS STAGE 1 GOLF 8R LAUNCH CONTROL!

A race from a standstill between the Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG (W176) and the new Mark 8 Volkswagen Golf R (stage 1, 390HP).

Specifications:
Both of the cars have a 4-cylinder 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine and 4-wheel drive. However, the A45 produces 361 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque compared to the 390 horsepower that the tuned Golf 8R puts out.

Golf have stage 1 if that Benz was tuned on Eurocharged. Then there be a race. I love to race it with my E55 and my GLE43. I already beat a GTI modified with my GLE43.

GOLF 8 R stock doesnt run far behind a A45s ( I know I have a 8r and raced 2 A45's over the 1/4 mile a few times including running neck and neck twice ! So a stage 1 can very possibly achieve this result - no surprise to those that own and drove both these cars

Can't decide between 2024 DSG GOLF R or 2023 GLA 45 AMG with 382 HP. GLA is 10k USD more than the Golf. Which one is faster?

I wonder why people like to race straight lines? If you are good then race touge. In Malaysia we don't race straight lines we race getting highland.
