In my series; How to use Canva FOR BEGINNERS, I will walk you through the ins and outs of Canva from the most basic understanding of the interface to the nitty gritty tools hidden within the Canva platform. Today in installment one we are walking through the absolute basics of the Canva software.

Who am I?
I am a marketing manager for My Town Media, a radio and digital advertising company. As a small company, all of our employees wear many hats, myself included. I am responsible for creating content for 19+ social media accounts among many other tasks, so I have gotten incredibly comfortable with using Canva and want to share my knowledge with others looking to learn! I have been making Canva content on my TikTok account, Emily In Wichita, for a few months now and have gotten multiple requests to make longer-form content with more substance, so here I am!

Please leave any comments or requests below :)

Follow me on Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, and TikTok! I am @EmilyInWichita on ALL platforms!

I’m trying to watch your video of Canva. I’m still so confused. Really all I wanted to do is to make ingredient label. I make freeze dried candy and I want to put the ingredients on the back of the pack. Do you live in Wichita Kansas small world I live in El Dorado Kansas.

Your speaking way to fast for beginners! 😂

You talk way too fast for people to understand you. If you even read your comments down here you would know that. It's not even about trying to slow down what you're saying it's how you're saying it. This is canva for beginners! Swirling your mouse around just makes me nauseous, as i'm sure it does to other. It is depressing to search on YouTube for a how to do something and come up with something like this which is how to not even make me want to use it. Sorry to be such a Debbie downer, but you really need to learn your people skills and try this again. Apparently I'm not the only one who feels that
