Hello lovely people,

I have just launched a Patreon for sharing behind the scenes, early releases, demos, access to a discord community and much, much more.

I'd be so happy if you got involved.

Thank you!

My grandfather passed while I was listening to this song. My sister came in and told me as it was still playing. Now, for me, he lives in this song with my grandmother who passed 30 days before him. Love you Nana and Papa.

Music like this has such power. It can have few words or none at all and it can move you to another place in time.

" This was our dance;
Strangled in the ether.
Past revelations and inhibitions,
we began to float.
Tangled in eachother.
Past the miles,
and despite the reason.
You were shining,
adorned in your white cloak.
You came and kissed me without lips.
You touched me without imprints.
Out from the concrete jungle,
and into sacred land.
Where you and I could share our last dance.
You were an illusion,
my imagination's play.
I thought you were real, but your heart was inside the fortress I could not breach.
Past the fuzzy line, we could not reach.
.. Now,
you are a memory. "

I was calling
For the last time
We'd been here before
They found pictures in the snow
I could tell your eyes
Looked beneath the blue
I woke underneath the trees
For the first time

I was calling
For the last time
We'd been here before
They found pictures in the snow
They found pictures in the snow
I woke underneath the trees
For the first time

I was calling
For the last time
We'd been here before
They found pictures in the snow
I could tell your eyes
Looked beneath the blue
I woke underneath the trees
For the first time

When you lose a loved one a part of your soul dies as well. And then sometimes... just sometimes... there comes a song to remind you of that bond.... 💕

The First Tree brought me here. If you're still getting over losing someone, i highly recommend playing it til the end. It only costs a few bucks and only takes a couple of hours max....

How I loved them... No one knows.... But, I miss my brother, though we don't share the same blood, but, he still my brother.

I miss my uncle, who always made me laugh and happy.

I miss my grandmother, who ever take cared of me.

I miss the days that we were together.

And I hope don't lose my girl, because I love to much her.

Hey guy, if you thinking in suicide because you lost someone, that people who's gone, do not want you be dead, if you had people to take care, if you have you to take care, 'cause you'll never lose you, remember, our job is to make a better world for ourselves, that job begins with hope, and that hope begins now.

My oh my, can I identify with this video! There are many a man roaming this world who, due to the loss of a loved one, have become homeless. It takes away your identity, it takes away your dignity, it takes away your soul. The dreams are particularly cruel. You awaken to realize you are back out on the streets and your memory is only a dream. Eventually, that is all you are left with - a memory. In time, even the memory begins to fade, and all you are left with is a big gaping hole inside where the memory once occupied.

Had a dream that my friend told me about this band. When I asked her about them later, she had never heard of them. I don't know how my subconscious brought them to me, but every time I hear them I feel like something deep inside of me is finally waking up.

the way this song mimics the feeling of grief is remarkable. the unrelenting build of emotional strings/percussion in the background while the lyrics go on about the business of the melody of the song is a direct correlation to the feeling in the heart when processing loss. it's hauntingly, beautifully sorrowful but also cathartic - like a purge of emotion at the end of a big cry. every time I hear this song I think about my sister who died in 2018 from her addiction.

I didn't know I could feel this way about dance. This is choreographed and edited in such a graceful way. The cinematography is perfect.

To be alone for so long, it changes you. To know that you are unwanted and undesired by anyone, well it hurts. All you do is reminisce in the past, thinking of love and what it feels like to be able to to hold someone that you love. All to know it will never happen again.

Gosh, this is so beautiful beyond words! The melody, that few lines of lyrics, his voice, the strings and the dance, the dance!!! I can listen and watch this video over and over again and every time it makes me cry. This is a masterpiece! Haunting and beautiful at the same time.
A homeless guy who has lost everything except his backpack. See how he begins to dance, as much pain as he tries to get rid of through the dance. Then she turns up, from a time he never forgets.
He wakes up under a tree and goes to the place where they used to be. Where they used to dance together. He does it for the last time because he has to move on, start over.
See his relief when it's over and he walks into the town with lighter steps. He's free, she's free but still a memory, but now a good memory and he can now move on...
That's my interpretation!

This music makes me both sorrow and happy. First because it makes me fell like I lost something precious, like myself in the process of life. Second because it's so beautifull.

I just happened to hear this song, today, on the 7th year anniversary of my daughter's death. Life is never easy.

this was my top song on Spotify this year, this beautiful soulful music takes my breath away, it talks to each an every painful experience, every joy, curve, touch, terror, lust, love, terror, fear all mixed into one, the beauty and terror as we learn to separate into a higher consciousness, this dancing and story is breathtaking, thank you for expression, your art
