i was a freshman at NIU when coach hammock was a RB and remember watching him play. he was always a class act. never in my wildest dreams did i think he would lead NIU to victory at #5 ND. NIU!

Good for him, man, beating the eventual runners up in that year's CFP (ND won 13 straight games after that loss). He's a wonderful human being. I wish him the best in his future seasons. We need more people like Thomas Hammock in this world.

NIU Coach Hammock lost a ton of weight in the offseason, but after the win at Notre Lame, coach definitely was celebrating at the Golden Corral buffet. Eat up coach, you deserve it!! Go Huskies 🍗
