Eagle Lake Quick Fishing Stop

We head to Eagle Lake Alberta for a day of fishing and to check how bad the algae is. Upon arrival we see the algae has dissipated but the wind has made the water cloudy with low visibility. We launch the boat and pops quickly catches several walleye before the wind finally pushes us off the lake. 40 minutes of fishing with 3 fish landed. All were walleye caught on bottom bouncers tipped with shiner minnows. Thanks for watching and hope you enjoy!

I had no idea that the algae disappears at a certain point in the fall so I never fish there past mid June. Very cool. Nicely done!

How did you find the launch ? Been years since been there. Had a single seat pontoon that was good but updated to a 14ft wide aluminum. Always a good place no matter the nay sayers.
