I real enjoy when bands add Behind the Scenes imagery to their videos. Always seems to give a more detailed insight into the band. These photos just reinforced the "family/brotherhood" vibes that Nightwish gives off. They really seem to enjoy being each other.

What an odd, refreshing, sense of real. I am amazed by how much the members of Nightwish appear to be....normal people. They play, they laugh, they make faces (Floor 😘), they liked the Natural History Museum, etc. Wow. And yes, I am also hoping for the return of a happy and healthy Marko. Until then..."What is God, if not the spark that put Floor and Tuomas in the same band?" That is truly a match made in heaven. Thank you for sharing these clips.

I was there @ El Teatro de Flores that night. Last time I had seen them live was before Tarja left; 2004. I never thought I'd see them again live so this was beyond my expectations! Floor has come a long way, to think she had only been in the band for a few months. Nightwish will be forever my favorite band. I hope they come back to Argentina soon, I'll be there!

Floor Jansen: your voice is absolutely magical. You have the power of doing metal and opera at the same time. No one can beat your voice. You are an absolute metal goddess. You have a sparkle in your eyes and you are absolutely gorgeous.

Marko: Your voice shakes the ground. You are the King of metal, and for that reason no one can ever replace you. Bass/voice!!!! Man what can you not do. Together, you and Floor change metal and your voices together make everyone feel overpowered!! I cried when you left, it made me so sad. I pray for your well being.

Tuomas: Words cannot describe how grateful we are for you. You make music seem mysterious and fairy like. The lyrics you come up with, the songs you create, the names you give to each one of them. It is talent honestly. You rock the keyboards.

Emppu: no one can rock the guitars as much as you do, anytime I watch the videos I see the excitement and happiness in your eyes. You and Marko always overpower other guitarists from metal.

Troy: The instruments you play, no one can replace. You give me Hobbit and LOTR vibes anytime I listen to nightwish. You make the band seem like I am in a fairytale.

Kai: You are the savior of our drums, you make the ground tremble anytime I am at a concert. You are a one of a kind.

Jukka: We miss you dearly but hope you are doing well, you rocked nightwish and you always brought a smile to my face anytime I listened. You were the best at drums and just like Kai, you make the ground shake! Praying for you and always wish you the best.

Jukka Koskinen: Welcome to the band!! So happy you joined. I have watched the concert, and You were so amazing. I am so so so impressed with your skills. Nightwish picked the best when it came to finding a new bass player. You are rocking and I know you will do so well, one concert was more than enough to prove that.




Finally a note to the entire band: Thank you for existing. You became my favorite band just by listening to the phantom of the opera. It was a YouTube recommendation.... I have never listened to metal. After listening to you I fell in love with Nightwish. I finished listening to every single album within months, I even memorized the lyrics!! If I could show you my Spotify playlist you will see that you are the only band I follow. That's because it is!! I don't listen to any other band (other than your own songs that you each make). I know every song, I know when each part will come. I have only known this band for 3 years but because I listened to this band so much, it feels like an eternity. You made me become a happier person than I ever was. Thank you so much Nightwish. Words cannot describe how grateful I am for each and everyone of you. Praying for you all and I hope that a new album can be expected in the future. I am patiently waiting. Good luck to the future and looking forward to more concerts.

Aside from the photos which are AMAZING (the ones with Freya are so cute...), I can't help but notice that this performance was captured in December 2012, which means Floor had joined the band less than 6 monthes before, yet it seems she's been part of it for years, the way Marco and her work together on stage is outstanding !

Thanks for this guys!!! One thing is terribly obvious with this - you all LOVE being a band together, you love to play and it's what you do SO well. You were born for it. Hang in there, tour days WILL be back!!!!
