If you're gonna do a v/u shaped curve like that in your eq, I suggest that instead of boosting the high and low frequencies, you should lower down the mid frequencies instead and just increase the gain/volume if it's too soft. Doing a bass boost would make more gain than what you actually need and add unwanted low-frequency noise. Lowering down the mids would theoretically achieve the same results as boosting your bass and trebles, and would be cleaner. This method that I suggested is called "subtractive eq" and it's worth looking into. :)

This is such a crazy essential tool IMO. The difference is clearly night and day. My voice doesn't feel so flat anymore since I cranked up the bass and now it feels like there's more weight on it. Thank you so much for this video!

Also, to anyone watching, I initially used the classy and bassy preset and it didn't feel like much changed so then I used the same settings he used in his video and it sounds much better.
