Ray Trapani had always wanted to be a criminal, even as a young boy. In 2017, amidst the economic frenzy of the Bitcoin boom, there was no better place for scammers than cryptocurrency. So when Ray's friend approached him with the idea of creating a debit card for crypto, Trapani jumped at the chance. There was only one problem: he had no idea how to do that. But thanks to fake LinkedIn profiles, paid celebrity endorsements, and the online community’s insatiable desire to "get rich quick," Centra Tech was soon raking in millions of dollars a day. Was it real? No. But did it work? Maybe. In this fast-paced, debaucherous documentary from director Bryan Storkel (Producer of The Legend of Cocaine Island + Director of The Pez Outlaw), Ray himself guides viewers through the ups and downs of his dramatic journey, alongside his family, former friends, and the journalist who exposed Centra Tech as the first high-profile fraud case of the crypto era.

It’s deplorable the way this guy Ray and his family didn’t seem to suffer any consequences the way the other members did. The fact that he still has the ability to con people is a slap in the face of justice and shame on the prosecutors who only gave him a slap on the wrist.

Ever since I was a kid, I always wanted to be a criminal. He said it with pride and joy.

His whole family members are scumbags, his mother is the worse. People who lost their money will go after him.

The difference of this film from the other documentaries...1 he is not denying what happened 2 he is telling the story with great pride 3 he is so proud how he get away with jailtime and keep doing shady business ...the part that cringed me is how some people can still deal with this kind of person. The moment he showed "loyalty" to his childhood friend is a sign of not a good business partner or friend. Sam and Ray hated each other in school, Sam should not have trusted him. NO ONE SHOULD ENGAGE WITH THIS GUY. Anyways, I believe in karma. So goodluck Ray.

How is Ray's mother gonna really fix her lips to say that Sorbee is the one who definitely kept and hid the stolen money.... but that her son -- his complete PARTNER IN CRIME in all of this, from day 1, and who's continuing to do shady things AS THEY SPEAK, like buying a house when he owes their victims millions -- definitely did not??? 🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨

Make it make sense.

How much was the judge paid?? Ridiculous that he's not made to pay back every single dollar he made by scamming people.

This guy shows no remorse at all for what he did and all the people they took advantage of.

I don’t think con artist should be idolized like the way this documentary portrayed Ray.

If this is as good as the Social Dilemma, I can't wait to watch this. Netflix does a great job exposing Cults too.

Apparently we live in a society where money makes you invincible. People up top in society hold the highest secret that can be paid away. This man only represents 1% of many not surprised at the outcome at all.

Somebody needs to look into the judge and lawyers. Seriously.

It just makes the US courts appear racist and unjust. The Indian guy gets the longest sentence and both Caucasians were left off easy.

Bro straight up jacked Ray Liotta’s opening line in goodfellas. Just replaced gangster with criminal.
