That octopus charger is not a good idea and is dangerous. I say this as an engineer with a bachelor's in electrical engineering and a master's in energy systems engineering. That charger is only outputting a single voltage for all of the batteries it is charging. The voltage difference between the charging voltage and the batteries open circuit voltage determines the charging current for that battery. So if you are charging two batteries and one of them is nearly fully charged and the other has a very low charge, this charger will dump too much current into the low charge battery. This could potentially damage the battery and create a hazard. There is a reason none of the major tool makers do this. If they have multi-port chargers, they either charge one battery at a time, or they have separate charging circuits for each battery.

I have a 4 plane laser and the biggest benefit of the bottom horizontal laser is the minimum height you can have a laser line. For example, when checking level on short skirting boards or things like the first row of small tiles, where the top level is simply too high.

I'm interested in that Octopus, I have only DeWalt batteries, but my mom and dad have a menagerie of batteries and chargers that take up a pretty good chunk of real estate in the garage, the Octopus might be a great way to tidy that area up. Thanks for the video and enjoy the weekend.

Thanks for another cracking video. Really liking the octopus charger, really great when being offered a tool and battery but no charger for little money. Also like the black zero drill, do I need it? No... Do I want it yes! Looks so smart (tool ahololic 😂) been considering the huepar for a while, really like it, just buying on priority to stick to my budget.

I would love to see a side by side comparison to the Bosch laser levels. I'm sure Bosch is good but you need a small mortgage to buy the 4 plane or whatever the higher end model is. I gotta say I like the scissor lift just to play with on my workbench 😂
