This is the card they sent us for evaluation purposes. This particular one just so happened to be for Access purposes.

However this video and information simply explains what these cards are capable of overall.
Although this particular card is not a credit card or a gift card, or a phone card with credits, etc, it is merely an example of the potential of this genre of device :-)

it would be cooler if you could just change the card. NFC to upload cards to it and NFC to purchase stuff and an E-ink display to display the current card selected.

When I saw the headline, I thought it would be a "One card to rule them all" type situation. It's still pretty cool though.

Very cool. Seems like the next logical step would be for all credit cards to have this feature. Have the card generate a 2fa code for each use online.

I wonder if you could dodge the battery problem by having it update while getting power from the reader? Wouldn't work for 2FA tokens or the blankable thing, but for something like gift card balance updates it'd be perfect.

1:01 The numbers are absolutely readable when the display is turned off. Doesn't seem as good security as one would think.

I can only imagine if more banks were to offer those instead of a separate debit card and 2FA token.
