How To Quantize Audio to Match Other Samples | Quick Tip

This video looks at quantizing in Cubase, particularly how to quantize audio to match other samples. This is useful when, for example, you are matching a groove to an audio recording done previously, where the groove has some tempo changes to give it life. In the hit points menu you can use the Threshold and Intensity controls to match all of the important drum hits in the groove and create a new quantize setting for your selected samples. It shows you how to quantize audio from other samples to the drum grooves to give them the same feel.
