would be dope as heck for a city like this to have a world class beach at its center

Anything that makes downtown more walkable and friendlier to just like, hanging out, would be great.

This looks simple to build and an easy win for the city. Let’s do this!

It will take 700 years to build with are construction, it took 35yrs to build the entire u.s interstate system 40, 000 miles, today it takes 3 years for 3 miles on the Kennedy Express way

the problem with Chicago, it's too many cars in downtown, downtown is too car friendly, At the end of the day it needs to replace cars with trams in downtown build out the sidewalks for more pedestrian friendly environments put more trees and just be more of a urban landscape apposed to being a carcentric crap hole...

LSD is bottleneck the access to Chicago's Lakefront. We need to rethink how we use LSD as a street before fancy renderings are introduced.

Lake shore drive from Oak Street all the way to Soldier Field should be buried. Underground, connect to Lower Wacker, exit at Roosevelt.

Why don’t you say why Mich Boul is vacant? A functioning police and legal system would help everything in Chicago.

Why is there a highway so close to the beach, it cuts off any walkable routes to the actual beach.

Running 6+ lane highway next to your beautiful waterfront, how revolutionary

Would love to see some like this happen. Go anywhere in the world, anywhere where there's body of water, there's entertainment options of all sorts. It's a shame Chicago hasn't done something like this sooner to take advantage of the lake front. By the way, one of the main reasons why so many stores have closed is because you're letting thugs be thugs without arresting. You really think a business owner is going to want to invest in real estate front? Also, the smell of weed is nauseating in Michigan street. Way to go Liberals! You really know how to manage and protect our city!

Needs more classical bits of architecture. Some cute street lamps, benches, a gazebo, some all around pleasant and aesthetically pleasing structures that put a little smile on your heart

We have many other areas in the city that need this way more than the north side.

It won't matter unless they get crime under control

Revamping Michigan Avenue will only give the local "youths" more reason to come into town and raise havoc.

Need to make it easy for the shoplifters to get in and out

Stores aren't closed because of covid but because of the threat of violence.

Well as a NON resident of the area why don’t we just allocate said funds to OTHER areas in which the city should prioritize FIRST over giving the already wealthy MORE luxury at the expense of OUR TAX DOLLARS

I’m missing something…it’s looks identical except for some trees and a bridge
