HAHA, you had me looking through my fingers and prepping for blood and gore! Such a relief in the end with some great surgery!

Amazing ~ to construct a ship like SV Seeker with no serious injuries along the way!
That's not by chance ~ somebody, (or everybody) is paying real close attention to safety!
My hat off to you!
Cheers!

Well, in my 60 odd yrs reading about heros slaying dragons, this is my first time encountering slayed by ladder!
Another awesome first for Team SV Seeker!..love the ER work guys.

Ha ha ... Been watching since you got the flat sheet and dragged through the fence and stood the first crane, I think this is your best video yet! Ten years that's been quite an achievement!

Damn that was sad. When I thought it was a human I wasn't too concerned, but one of the dragons? That was tragic! Thank you Dr. Doug and Nurse Page for your exemplary surgical skills and care during post-op recovery. Take care and secure that ladder!

We had someone's pigeon joint with our chickens for a while, flew in the coop to get away from a hawk. Roosted with them for a few nights. Coo'ed, danced, and followed people around during chores, apparently curious. Last evening there, it took flight, staying close to the yard but high enough to put on a little bit of a show, as if to thank it's hosts. Swoops, loops, and rolls. Next morning, it had left for home. A post on the local swap-shop page let us know that it had made it.

I guess injuries are inevitable but your first aid skills look impeccable. It's hard to believe Paige has waited so long to draw, she's so talented!

NOT THE DRAGON!

Good policy on not leaving things up there Doug. It is one of the things I used to yell at people for at a french fry plant since the vibration of all the equipment always made it fall. An even better habit on a boat.

Seems like the same process my dentist uses on me, except he charges a LOT more. Might have to travel your way next time I need dental or nose work. :)

🎼🎶 Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale, 🎵 a tail of a fateful trip, 🎶 that started off in Doug's back yard 🎵 holly fucking shit.

MY GOD You cruel man, you need to take her to a trained professional.
She does nice drawings, those look really good. Especially for just starting, friggin amazing.

Something I appreciate about Doug, he dismisses the Safety Sally types, but actually cares about the stuff that could be dangerous in the real world. Like not leaving a ladder propped up without being tied down (except this time, apparently).
