Conventional creativity, like say music, is targeted at happiness, and it's kids friendly. Passion creates deeper creativity. It has emotions like getting moved, surrender, enchanting, merging mentally etc. Such creativity is for self, not for masses in general. Age is important factor in deciding what will appeal whom. Everyone can be creative in different ways, everyone can have different insight. This is applicable primarily where there is no boundary of good and bad....some people like ocean, some mountains, some desert, some trees, some animals, some like vast space etc. True liking can result in unique creativity.
Becoming successful, getting money is whole another story. At basic level one has to be creative in managing things, life, job. This would yield money and such creativity can be applied in art further. Music, painting etc is managing arrangement of elements. Sometimes people can express dark emotions, like pain or lust etc, but if it's consistently, then there is huge internal problem that needs to be addressed.
