TRUE FACTS! Military/Veteran wife here. My husband of 41 yrs served our country 14 years, finally had to get out on medical disability, multiple health issues, mainly brought about by years of hard physical exertion in his particular M.O.S., plus a serious training accident, leaving him with permanent injury and pain. Yet they only awarded him 10% disability, not many benefits. We always gave to all kinds of causes and charities through our jobs. And still do after retirement. Yet we went through a rough time in 2016, were homeless for 3yrs, barely keeping cheap motel room roofs over our heads nightly. Yet we could get zero help from anyone. Not the VA, the American Legion, Senior Services, no one, because we made like 90/mo too much to qualify for help. Do they not realize it doesn't matter if it is taking every bit of those funds to survive, at 120-199/night sometimes, depending upon the season. Just Insanity. Sadly, we watched so many people, trapped in similar situations, their souls just seem to die. Thank goodness by hard work and the grace of God we finally pulled ourselves up out of that mess and back into a stable home. There are so many serious issues with the way the government here in the USA handles all of these issues. Thank you for bringing them more into the light. For that is truly the only way they can ever be correctly addressed. God Bless You. I'm not a huge fan of rap but I like and appreciate you, Tom!

Tom, I'm 51 in 17 days and have been praying to our fallen ANZACs for over four and a half decades now and they have always left their reply to my question seating in my gut the next morning... I wouldn't be alive today if I didn't know at 7yrs old in state care I needed something to believe in after I lost faith in god and what's more purer than one giving one's life for another...
