When using layer folders in Ibis Paint, it feels like you will be more organized for your painting. For example, you want to put the rough sketches in the rough folder, the line drawing in the line folder, and the colors in the color folder. That's what I've been doing when organizing my drawings so that they don't clutter up and get mixed around.

Wait till you add folders in a folder, then add folders in a folder, thenadd folders in a folder, then add folders in a folder
even folders can get cluttered

I found this out a little while ago: if you want to merge a bunch of layers together, instead of merging down one by one, put them all in a folder. Then, with the folder selected, hit merge down and it will combine them all into one layer.
