Evolution of Elasto Mania (1997-2022)

Elasto Mania is a series of platform motorbike video games. It explores the notion of elastic motorcycles. The goal of each level is to touch the flower. Some require the player to collect apples spread throughout it before doing so. There is online competition in trying to finish the levels as fast as possible and setting new world records. Time improvements have often shown to rely on finding new ways to solve the levels. Betterment also relies on polishing known styles.

I met the guy who made the game, in an airport back in the 90s. I was 6 years old flying with my family to Disney World. He came over to me and told me about a game where you ride a motorcycle and collect apples, then gave us the name of the game written on a post-it note.

Elma Online is literally the most important change to the game in its history (and wasn't featured here). Sure, its a mod, but the whole commonity is built around EOL these days :)
