Meatballs Fricassee - Special Slav Edition

Greetings comrades! You have already seen some meatballs on the channel, so you may imagine that we Slavs enjoy them quite a lot and yes you will be right.

So today I will be showing you another classic recipe from the Babushka arsenal, I know that Fricassee in other countries and culture is very different from that, but we call it “Kofteta Frikase” or “Meatballs Fricassee”, I am not really sure why though. These are meatballs, typically prepared in a broth, after that the broth is augmented with some yogurt mixture and the final result is quite intriguing. Also I am not sure why, but most children enjoy this variety the most.

Make sure to dip the sauce with some nice bread, this is essential!!!

Products:
1 carrot
1 abnormally huge onion
1 green stick of death, also known as celery
1kg minced meat, you can go with any type, as always I am using pork, at least 20% fat
Some breadcrumbs for meatball forming
Chicken stock if you have, can be replaced with … water
200g yogurt, I use the regional bulgarian one we have available
2 eggs
4-5tbsp flour
lemon
Salt, summer savory and pepper to make everything taste good
