Fishs heard : are you ready to dive?
Plants heard : are you ready to die?

To much Oksigen bad for plants.

They should already get enough oxygen from the circulation of the filter

As a former senior aquatics specialist, i can assure you this will not kill fish. Its bubbles. Not pure o2 being pumped into the aquarium. What you guys are referring to is swim bladder disease and its cause is by many things such as improper feeding methods, but this is not one of them. If anything, itll aid in the o2/co2 exchange by breaking surface tension of the water. Which will in turn aid the plants by having more co2 to synthesize bc those tiny fish doubtfully produce enough co2 to really see maximum plant growth.
The more ya know.

Actually those air bubbles are too big to get dissolved into the water the real function is to agitate the surface of the water so the air can dissolve into the water.

I have had these when I have tanks and the fish absolutely love those. They will ride it like an elevator or they with try to swim through it without going up. I would recommend this as a form of enrichment and health for fish

Surface agitation causes oxygen and co2 transfer. The bubbles don’t put oxygen in the water but the agitation they create on the surface will help transfer oxygen.

Gases are exchanged at the water surface. The bubbles don’t oxygenate the water but when they pop they do

took me 3 times rewatching to notice he sayed are you ready to dive

Surface agitation is what allows the exchange of o2 with co2. Not bubbles

Air pumps for fish tanks should be used for sponge filters and/or underground filters, and any excess can be used for more than one project or task.

The bubles do not put oxygen in the water. Oxygen is absorbed through the surface. Bubbles simply turn the water over.

Bubbles don't put oxygen in your tank. Surface agitation does

That’s not entirely correct. It’s not the bubbles that creates the O2 in the water. It’s the breaking of the surface tension at the top that allows gas exchange

Instead of these bars i actually prefer a small bubble stone as it takes less area and and also can be removed and put easily 👍🏻

I wouldnt put that at the front of the tank, it's going in the back so I can still see my fuckin fish

Air stones transfer co2 and oxygen in to the water for plants and the fish. But you don't need one so large only to break the surface tension of the water is needed. Unless you want to feel the urge to pee all the time.

The bubbles only cause surface agitation. The bubbles don't have time to release O2 into the water. Although you do need the surface agitation.
