I liked this film, but the book was better. It was crazier. The machine worked but left a copy behind a ghostlike shell that had to be disposed of. Angier had a crypt built wherein he kept dozens of these "prestige materials" hidden.

Well no its random so technically the real anger could've survived, but it's very unlikely. Even so I don't think there are any "originals" so to speak I think they're both jsut the same there's no real way to tell as they'd both believe they're the real ones
