Did you catch this in HOOK? The pirate who screams, “Long live The Hook!” is legendary American musician David Crosby in a cameo performance! Looks like all he had to do was show up, unlike the poor pirate who gets put in “The Boo Box.” That pirate is actually venerated actress Glenn Close who also happened to play Robin Williams’s mother in the offbeat 1982 dramedy, The World According to Garp!

I remember that my dad did catch this when we first watched the movie years ago. He couldn't place the name, and thought the guy was a famous comedian; maybe he was, I had no idea, lol.

Also, I find it AMAZING that Glenn was the boo box pirate! It proves once again that a good actor can play ANYTHING 😊

the captain of the flight at the beginning of the movie...the pan am plane flight. thats dustin hoffman over the intercom. hooks voice shows up far before peter enters neverland, not a coincidence considering smee is the window washer.
