WING FOIL SPEED CHALLENGE // 20@20 Episode 13

I always wondered how fast I could go on a Wingfoil board, my goal was to go and find out. The wind was wild, gusty offshore conditions blowing from 5 to 35 knots. With the foil I was able glide through the dead zones no problem, and on the gusts project forward as fast as I could.

Nice. Always great videos. It's amazing how quickly things have changed in this sport. I hit 29 today on a 925sq cm high aspect foil and 6m wing in 20mph of wind. Time for a hear upgrade and round 2!

It will be great when foiling wings are constructed as well as windsurfer wings . The thinner leading edge clearly has a speed advantage but is it the best for general wing foiling and transport and setup.

interesting to see what the actual speed is, winging seems so slow compared to kiting on a small foil after going back to back but haven't tried the smaller foil with the wing, might have to try the 90

Kai its called speed beach from the days of windsurfing and the speed challenge.

You have to try on a good speed spot with a speed foil I am sure you can go much faster with a steady and strong wing and no chop.
