Kaku Guru TESTING THE LIMITS! Sea Trials

Kaku Guru Sea Trial Equiped with PowerPole Move and Honda 5HP Outboard
Note: This is a sit-on-top, self-bailing kayak, which means it has scuppers for the water to drain out. If you put a lot of horsepower on it, water will come through those scuppers into the hull, but the boat drains quickly and efficiently! I don’t see any issue with it whatsoever—water getting on the boats is normal, everyday stuff. That’s why they have bilge pumps, etcetera, and more!
You can always plug those scuppers with a two-way plug, but really, I wouldn’t. I’d just make sure my BlackPak sits high or avoid carrying anything that should not get wet in it. I should do a video about the love and hate of scupper plugs, lol. Unless the water is splashing on me, I don’t care if it comes through, as long as the boat can handle the water on the deck easily by draining it out quickly.

I know this is not an special video, but I like it, I like the scenery, I wanted to show you guys how the boat really looks, not much taking or craziness it is more like a behind the scenes with broll, I would do it again.

Will you test review the new bean bag seat just released for the Kaku Guru?

Been enjoying all the Guru content. Very impressive that you’re able to sit up high on the seat and run the motor. Did you feel stable sitting on the back rest while running the motor at full speed?

You should try two people on that boat. Looking for something small for my wife and I!

Where can I find one of those camera rod mounting sticks that are so long that you use that seem to be able to hold up to the riggors? thank you for your helpful videos...

I wonder why they didn't do any scuppers in the front to help with drainage up there? I noticed water standing there when you were doing the trolling motor.

Not a fan of the water coming in near the stern under power. I didn't see that happen with the NuCanoe Unlimited.

So what’s the verdict Aliex? Do I need the 9.8hp Tohatsu?
I’m 240lbs, will have about 50lbs of gear, a livewell full of water adding another 30lbs+ and then the bow trolling motor. And I’ll be operating in choppy windy conditions. It will almost never be flat like in this video

Do you recommend the zulu and the guru for a 300lb guy?

Alien you need to go back and look at your older videos. They were way better than the current stuff your shooting.
