XJJ Portfolio V6. I’m 69, but remember when I was about 10, one my neighbours had a Mark II Jag, like the one you featured. He he had won some prizes in the Monte Carlo’ rallies. As boys, we were dead impressed! This E Type had just burst on to the scene- 150mph - wow! I still like Jags, hope I still have one when I am 80.

Just letting y’all know. I paid 5k in maintenance/up keep for my supercharged v8 Jag XF in the past year and a half. There’s a REASON they’re cheaper to buy initially. I don’t want people buying cars outside their means and destroying them via lack of maintenance.

I have an XF R-S Sportbrake, one of 61 in existance, It's a total weapon and a massive joy to drive, driving around in my house deposit will be gutted when I have to let it go next year.
It's not uncomfortable at all, yes it's stiff in dynamic but for day to day driving standard mode is compliant enough. I also have a 2.2 base model and whilst it's softer the difference isn't huge beyond the steering weight.

Spot on with the XKR and S type R, rust is a killer on both of these these and subframes on the S are prone, as are sills under the S body kit. The other problems with both are with cooling, at 60k miles + expect to need a new radiator, thermostat, sensors and hoses, budget about £300 for maintenance or up to £2k to replace a popped head gasket.

If you are into a Jag V8 don't expect MPG to start with a 2 or higher! 16 is about average for my S and my XKR.

Love the videos.

I loved my 2017 XE Diesel, and I now have an 2018 F-Pace Diesel. Really LOVE Jaguars. To me, they are one of the classiest looking cars ever. But of course, that’s just me. Wishing everyone a blessed new year!

Remember kids, there’s a difference between ‘cheap to BUY’ and ‘cheap to run’ with any 4.0L, V8-V12 engined car…

I bought a 2015 XFR with 15k miles in 2018 for under $45k. I owned it for 2.5 years and it was absolutely an amazing car. Pure Jekyll and Hyde personality. As for reliability -- I had ZERO problems. Had I not moved to an area of the US with bad roads and weather I would still have it. I'd take a Jag over Mercedes, BMW or Audi in a heartbeat. Except for Porsche, German cars have lost their souls.

Brilliant video, I own a 2006 4.2 v8 sovereign model, which I bought in 2019 for £4k, I have replaced the air compressor, rear breaks, some rubber bits on the suspension, 02 sensors. Recently passed her m.o.t with flying colours!!!. Always take her to a jaguar specialist for service, m.o.t and all work.

Loved the Video, very informative. These Jags are all future classics with the earlier XKRs most coverted of all. Keep up the good work. Regards Andy

Nice vid JB. A friend of mine has an F-type convertible & it looks great, my S5 convertible pales in comparison. Mine does have 4 seats the best for you & your family for the new year.

I have S-Type V6 2001 with custom exhaust, it sounds just incredible and its hard to hear anything like it on the road. Unfortunately gearbox ran out after 310k kilometres and he's waiting for me to fix that. Not very expensive on parts though, as every car it has some issues but i can't believe when i hear some people talking bout their spare parts costs in their VW's or Audi's. I don't really have any rust issue with this car, maybe the electrics are trash in some ways (or air conditioning).

In times where every second car on the road is a BMW with 1, 4 liter shitty engine or some VW, its really nice to have a decent Jaaag

Great video JB. I love my jags and have owned probably a good 30 - 40 in the 15 or so years iv been driving. I currently have a 2003 S type R and don't think i would ever change it now. Many other Jag's on your list id love to own though. Maybe someday lol

I was going to buy an XKR but every one I looked at had significant issues, especially corrosion. Gave up and bought an XJR6 instead for a lot less money. It's a keeper.
