привіт, Рoман!This is my first YouTube video comment ever, I think I should dedicate it to your channel. I've been studying Ukrainian for more than one month now, and I'll keep practicing it until I can speak this language fluently. Next year I'll go to Lviv for a half-year exchange program, your video definitely will enhance my learning process, I really appreciate that! There is a huge population of people with Ukrainian heritage in my city, but it's hard to find somebody who can give me some technical help. As a person whose first language is Mandarin Chinese, Ukrainian can be hard to learn, but you did a really good job explaining all the concepts, keep it up!
дуже дякую!

Very interesting. Haven't studied other languages that use the vocative case.

Pryvit, Romane! I am from Slovakia, so I use slovak language for fun :-) Vďaka za tento kanál, je to prehľadne urobené a tvoje videá to samoukom, ktorí sa chcú ukrajinsky naučiť, to dosť uľahčujú. Naozaj vďaka za tú námahu a čas, ktorý si na tieto lekcie vynaložil!

Hey, thanks a lot for these lessons. By the way, the best way I've found so far to learn languages is "listen and repeat" (kind of like pimsleur). If you could do conversations in a similar way with a partner, it would be fantastic.

Thanks, so when you name somebody you want to talk with you use that case?

Hmmm...very interesting! Our Ukrainian brothers, call their males just like we do here in Greece! By ending their names in E!....Very interesting indeed!

роман, Could you give examples of feminine nouns ending in a consonant in the vocative case?  For example a woman with a foreign name which ends in a consonant sound? All of the feminine examples you have given are of Ukrainian names ending in "a."  How about "Susan, " "Elizabeth, " "Karen, " "Siobhan?" Should they follow the consonаnt-ending pattern you have explained for masculine nouns or do they gain a vowel that sounds feminine?  дякую!
