Poor pensioners are not the ones on Pension Credit, they are well taken care of by the abundant hand outs and benefits given to them for not working enough years. Labour have missed that the poor pensioners are those who did work the required number of years, earned their full state pension and have a small privae pension, they are then frozen out of any other hand outs or extra benefits and have to survive purely on their state pension. For those the winter fuel payment was a huge relief. Labour have forgotten why it was brought in. This is shockingly is less in total to the pay rise in itself that she has so freely given to junior doctors

how about give all the MP's a 30% pay cut and put it into other benefits like winter fuel payments, helping the homeless in the UK, they won't thought lie and punish the pensioners who have lived and worked their entire life to lose winter fuel repayments, while thousands of freeloaders come across the channel get 4 star hotel accommodation priority for housing, free smart phone and money in their pocket and no plan on how to stop it and no deterrent, so the problem is just going to scale out of control, when is enough is enough, maybe when a terror attack happens on foreign soil and that planned from the UK, meanwhile give public sectors a massive pay rise this is just bonkers.

Firstly the government should be made accountable for wasting public money, secondly as the pensioners fuel allowance was taken away this year to fill a black hole, will the chancellor bring the fuel allowance back next year, will all MPs confirm they will not claim expenses for heating bills.
