@oldmananzai Well I think they sound a little different, but I do think that the singer from Norther sounds identical with Alexi. Maybe because they are both Finnish.

Ah, okay.... Then since Clayman, he began sounding like Alexi Laiho, don't you think? I think their voices are identical. I once mistook Anders for Alexi in Take This Life.

I tried listening to Norther, but they somewhat sound like old school Anders, compared to Alexi, who sounded like the present Anders, I think.

I think I listened to one of their songs from that album, Anders sounded too deep in that one. I think it's the title track. He was too different back then.

In Flames, Dark Tranquillity, At The Gates and Arch Enemey are the only four decent bands in this video, three of them being the pioneers of melodeath. Where's Amon Amarth, Insomnium, Ensiferum, Be'lakor, In Mourning, ..
that's what real melodic death metal sounds like.
