One of the many things I’m excited for about the QUEST 3 is the arrival of VR NEWCOMERS! For many, the Quest 3 will be their first ever VR headset. If you’re one of them, then this video lists some apps and games, both free and paid, that will help you get started. I also listed the price and file size to help you decide which games to get! I divided them into 7 different categories, and I recommend getting at least one app for each.

Just ordered my first vr headset, quest 3 yesterday.
Have put it off for years because the tech and library didn't justify the cost but with the ever expanding library and the new tech it finally looks worth it at this price point.
And if it works out maybe an upgrade to a micro led or oled system in the future.

Great list! Some of the things i want to do is emulation in Mixed Reality, which could be achieved with a virtual screen, or localy. 3DSEN with passthrough could be amazing, and running old school flat games in VR which have allready been ported too Quest 2 with Sidequest.

THANK YOU - as someone who is literally looking to get a VR headset and wants Quest 3 to be her first! :D I'm saving up so I can hopefully get it by next month! All the AR/MR stuff really has me interested more than the full VR game stuff lol! Like I saw vids of this like spacey star constellation app and i was like OMG that's so awesome. :o I gotta get it.

Just bought one and am totally blown away litterly. I like to sit but have fallen off my seat twice.😂😂 Looking forward to seeing the fully immersive games. I did get a game with it but keep forgetting the name. Thanks for the video. Told me some great things.

Great introduction. Just got my quest 3 yesterday and eager to get into it. Thinking of waiting till I get a pair or prescription lenses to really get into it but looks fun. Set it up just yesterday and yea it’s pretty crazy

meanwhile I accidentally went on first encounters because I didn't know what I was doing, right from the start!!

that was the first thing I tried and it was heartracing!!!~ it felt so scary because everything felt so real with the spaceship and all, and defending myself from fluffballs!!

I also had to keep in mind not to hit anything but it was difficult to do that!!~
