Danger--Isham Jones Orchestra, 1925

This peppy, reasonably "hot" dance side doesn't evoke much of a feeling of peril, but the Gus Kahn-Isham Jones number is nevertheless quite entertaining--and another good showcase for the excellent Oriole Orchestra. Recorded for Brunswick on 3/12/1925, obviously before things went electric at the label. Beautifully tight playing by the orchestra.

At the time this was recorded, Victor became the first label to offer "Orthophonic" {electrical} recordings on a permanent basis. Most of the other labels- including Brunswick- followed suit.
