As I watch your video, I sit in a hospital room with my mother in Law who will have surgery today for a mass found in her small intestine. My tote bag that I bought along from my home has many pockets to store items in. Usually it carries cords for my electronics and other essentials; but this time as I packed to come to the hospital I included: an archival ink, small scissors, a few clear bags with ephemera, a glue stick, and an old calendar planner-from 2010; that I am using to collage randomly in. As I sit here watching your art journaling mixed media travel kit video, I couldn't help but smile and tell myself-I need to start something like this soon. I'm nowhere near your artistic abilities, nor do I have friends who enjoy this craft. But, touching, holding, manipulating paper brings me joy! In the mist of supporting my MIL, I'm also supporting myself with taking a few moments to glue random pieces of paper to a page, acknowledging not only the peace and serenity and balance it brings to the mind, but how it helps during this uncertain time.

Hi! I realize this video is over a year, but this Marshall Field's case is a Marshall Field's was an iconic, and historic old school department store in Chicago that's no longer here. It's Macy's now. Thanks for sharing your kit!😊
