Drain Intex above ground pool (get last few inches)

Drain Intex above ground pool. This works with pools that have pumps, filters. It will not work with metal walled pools since they cannot be lifted.

Steps:
1. Connect hose to adapter.
2. Unscrew hose valve.
3. Push adapter into pool (interior plug) - push it into the pool.
4. Screw the adapter to the pool exterior plug.
5. Move hose away from your house, downhill
6. Drain water -this will take a few hours.
7. Unplug the hoses once the water around 4" deep.
8. Get a helper to help lift the pool (few remaining inches). Fold liner in half like a taco shell.
9. Let drain further.
10. Repeat step 8 until all the water is gone.

If you have a filter just put the inlet on the inside and the outlet on the outside, just do this to empty the entire pool because the flow rate is higher than the drainage plug

Help… I have the adapter abs have attached it to my hose… the water will not come out of the hose… it pours out of the nozzle but when I attach the hose nothing. I can’t figure it out. Help!!!

or easier method is to use a fish tank power head take strainer off use hosepipe on outlet nozzle on power head put in pool and let it do the job with no lifting of liner it what i do just a thought need desent size power head

But how can I do that without the adapter ? I have a few inches left to drain and it’s an open plug no adapter needed
