R.I.P Martin "Headmaster" Birch thanks to producers like him we have such great records. He managed to get everything out of Iron Maiden. The first 7/9 albums are some of the finest metal records of all time. Thanks Martin ❤️🤘🏻

No band on Earth has achieved Maidens success with almost no main stream radio.
Over 130 millions albums sold.
Over 2500 concert's, mostly sold out, across the globe for 40+ years.
Legends doesnt begin to describe them... long live the kings

Even though I’ve moved on to other bands and even different genres, I still always enjoy Iron Maiden, and I owe my whole musical path to them. They were the first band that I actually enjoyed musically, and Steve Harris is the reason why I am a bass player.

It’s one of those albums that you can put on and listen to from start to finish without ever skipping a song.

This video takes me back to a happier time. I agree that this is the best Heavy Metal album of all time. I remember in 1982, when it was released in Belgrade, it sold out immediately. That year I had to buy it outside of Yugoslavia, in Thessaloniki...

Clive Burr was a big part of why that album was so great.

50 years old, Maiden fan for 40. Was on a plane last week, and was listening to Piece of Mind and Powerslave. Women next to me tapped me on my shoulder and said her son, the next seat across, wanted to know what I was listening to as he’d been watching my head nodding, fingers mimicking Smith and foot tapping. I passed over the headphones and said he could listen, as long as he listened to a whole song. I set up ‘The Trooper’, pressed play and in approximately 3mins brought a 10yr-old Finnish boy into the Maiden fold….🤘

RIP Clive, the reason I became a drummer. He was more influential than he knew.

When Number of the Beast came out it blew our teen minds, nothing was as metal as that album before that. And they were deep, they wrote about history.

Powerslave, Somewhere In Time & Seventh Son are Iron Maiden's best albums for me.
But there is no denying that Number of the Beast is their most defining and essential record ever released. Bruce took them to another level, which is saying a lot since the first two albums were immense 🙏

Not sure that I'd agree, but it certainly is in the top tier, no question about it.

I enjoyed Piece of Mind just as much. Legendary era of music.

If it weren’t for Guitar Hero III I would’ve never heard NOTB and I would’ve never heard Hallowed be Thy Name and I can’t imagine not having that song in my life or Somewhere in Time Album. Thank you makers of GH ❤️
