Tatting a Folded Join or Twisted Picot Join

It took me a lot of attempts to get this join right!! So, this is a how-to video with illustrations to help me remember how to create a folded join, also called a twisted picot join. It's a technique used to join the last ring in a series back to the first ring when the join will be to the right. I hope it can help you, too.

Hallelujah - After many other Utube explanations, you saved further hours of frustration to be able to complete this procedure. Thank you for your complete detailed instructions.

Thank you so much for making this so plain as I have struggled with it for so long! Had been shown how to do the back join but didn’t need it often enough to remember. A happy tatter

Thank you so much.  That made it all crystal clear.  Why was I making it so hard on myself. A million cudos to you.

Thank you, Amy! The folded join has been driving me crazy, and your video is the first that has made sense to me. I tried it and it worked perfectly.

NICE. This is a little different than I've seen before. Your work is folded above the half-finished ring; others told me to fold it under the half-finished ring. Like the way you explain the twisted picot. Would like to have been able to print your diagrams for future reference.

Thank you! You could print the diagrams if you pause the video and use your "Print Screen" button on your keyboard, then paste the image into another program. : )
