My parents used to read Psalm 23 to me when I would get scared.

Brothers and sisters in Christ. The point is to not sin anymore; for sin is inevitable for man. I’m not saying to continue on in your sin but pray of a heart that seeks the Lord. A heart like David. This is the correct prayer. Yes we are bound by fleshly desires but have faith for the Lord has already overcome the world!

We all come from different backgrounds and because of that our beliefs and views of the Lord may be different. But I pray, that you will choose to personally pick up His Word, His Bible. To read it yourself. Come as you are. Leave all your past knowledge about the Lord behind and pray for His Spirit to give you wisdom; and He will if you believe.
