Birth control in Ancient Egypt

The ancient Egyptians were among the first to consider methods birth control. However, not in the way you might imagine. 

Quite a few extreme versions existed.
Honey and acacia gum were there favorite combination. A piece of cloth would be soaked in the mixture and then inserted by the women into their, you know. 

Crocodile dunk was another, less hygienic choice. Putting the grin aside, there's many doubts about its efficiency.
