Hello I am Sri Lankan. This bridge got its name as Adam's Bridge in the most recent era, I think about 100 or 200 years ago. It was during the British colonial period. Because the majority of Britons are Catholics, Adam is a creation of their God. They used the word "Adam's" for wonderful and wonderful creations. Ram Sethu Bridge is one of the many things that have changed names in that way in Sri Lanka. The real name of this place is Ram Setu Bridge and not Adam's Bridge

. (And also they called one of places in here adam's peak but it's not a real adams thing it's a lord buddha's foot print)
