I watched The Fellowship a few weeks ago for probably the 100th time. Just incredible as it was back in 2001.

Best cinematic THINGS ever in every way. Peak of film industry in my opinion. Acting, script, art direction, MUSIC, story, everything… There is none greater and unfortunately there never will be. This was a thing of passion and hard work alike. No cheap CGI, no copy paste storytelling, or boring music. Practical effects were a thing. Disneys copy paste movies weren’t ruling the world yet… It was truly original and not just because it was Tolkien, but because it was WORKED ON for a long time even before they shot it. They build a world so they can shoot a movie in it. Just listen to the OST and you will know what I mean. It was magic. Every time I watch it it’s a new journey. Every time I listen to the Shire theme I feel at home. So yeah Warner Brothers, please make more movies like this and less like Matrix 4 so after 20 years people still can FEEL something when they watch it.

The Fellowship is one of the best movies of all time. Any highlight teaser is always a great reason to take a time out and watch. A bit weird to see these Theatrical clips after only watching the Extended versions for the last 15 years.

Howard SHore's contribution to this opening cannot be overstated. Music like this isn't being used in major studio movies anymore.
