Nice video. Eyeballing multiprocess machines myself. In ac/dc it seems Esab 205ic, Everlast Lightning mts are the competition. Miller’s quick process change, and user interface seem pretty nice, along with in-person support where I live, but it doesn’t run 6010, doesn’t let you adjust pulse reduction...

Trying to go after that ESAB killing the competition.

Excellent coverage. A friend of mine has a earlier model and loves it.

Been looking at these lately... But the AC/DC models(Miller 220/ESAB EMP 205) at around $3k is a bit much for me right now, so I've been trying to decide if I really need AC or not. On the next tier down(Miller 215/ESAB EMP 215), it seems like the Miller comes out ahead. I could certainly see going with a 215 and then somewhere down the road getting a dedicated TIG box if I needed the AC capabilities - but I'm still tempted by the do-everything boxes.

Mine lasted 10 minutes!!! Bought early September during 2 week vacation from working on road...imagine my dissatisfaction and 10 days no welder. Ridiculous for $3k. Then it took 6 weeks to get it back! So, I’ll never get another multi-purpose machine - had nothing noda zip to use. Another moral, don’t sell your older machine!

Id love to get my hands on one. It would free up some space not having to have multiple machines for home use but at $3k plus tax, ouch. Not anytime soon.

Sounds like a good machine, I like Miller, their products have great quality. But, I'm like you, I do not like multiprocess machines. I feel the same way, they are usually limited in their multiprocess. Given it has a high frequency start, but what about it's material thickness spectrum. Meaning is it more limited on how thin or thick it can weld vs. A single process machine?
