Express powers of cos(θ) and sin(θ) in terms of cos(nθ) and sin(nθ) using de Moivre's Theorem

In this video we show how to express any powers of cos(θ) and sin(θ) in terms of cos(nθ) and sin(nθ) using de Moivre's Theorem - this allows us, amongst other things, to easily integrate any powers of cos(θ) and sin(θ).

This video is useful revision for advanced pre-university students studying for exams such as JC2H2, Higher IB and Further Maths A Level, as well as first year undergraduate maths students. It may also be useful for those 'studying' for Maths Olympiads.
